Aiza throws a front kick aimed at Sousa's knee but Sousa avoids it well.
Aiza missing with a left hand there. Sousa was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Sousa throws a big counter head kick but Aiza avoids it with no problem.

Garaile Aiza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sousa takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sousa has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Aiza fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sousa looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A right-left combo lands from Aiza.
Aiza throws a push kick but Sousa slaps the foot to one side.
Aiza smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Aiza catches Sousa with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Aiza takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Sousa misses with a takedown
and Aiza counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Sousa looks winded!

Aiza connects with a body shot.

Aiza drops Sousa with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sousa looks back up at him and smiles so Aiza waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Aiza lands with a big right hook that stumbles Sousa - he's out on his feet here! Aiza follows up with another monster hook that separates Sousa from consciousness! Sousa falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Aiza stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Garaile Aiza tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
