The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newman shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tambling eats them both and turns towards Newman to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Tambling looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
A punch combination from Newman misses.
Newman misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tambling appears to be looking for a big counter.
Tambling pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Newman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tambling circles away quickly and effectively.
Nice uppercut lands for Newman. That snapped Tambling's head back.

Cris Newman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
