Sykk's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rage Against The Machine - Killing In The Name . Hanak is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Criminal. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanak takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hanak has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Hanak drives through with a takedown into Sykk's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Sykk has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hanak can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Sykk looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Hanak is defending well. Sykk quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Hanak has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Sykk celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Turpin is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Hess's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Hess was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
