The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Down misses.
Down tries to close the distance and clinch up but Channings swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Channings is defended easily by Down.
Down misses with a takedown attempt - Channings sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Channings looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Danny Volcanic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danny Volcanic had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Danny Volcanic could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dennis Page's chin.
