The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ruzic.
And Williams counters with a quick kick to the body but Ruzic blocks it.
Williams misses with a hook. Ruzic ducked under it nicely.
A telegraphed right hand from Williams misses the target.
Ruzic throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ruzic moves away from the strike by Williams.
Ruzic tries to close the distance and clinch up but Williams swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nice body kick from Williams.
Ruzic tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Williams scores with a jab to the jaw.
Nice takedown defense from Williams. No joy for Ruzic on that attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ruzic crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Williams - the referee stops the clock and Ruzic gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Williams. Ruzic manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Horrible takedown attempt by Ruzic or perhaps it was just good defense by Williams, which made it look bad.

Williams blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Williams creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Ruzic tries to pull guard but Williams forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Williams feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Ruzic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Williams moves out of range of the body kick from Ruzic.
The fighters circling - Williams throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Ruzic tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Ruzic moves away from the strike by Williams.
Williams lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Ruzic gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Williams points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Ruzic wakes up just in time to hear Williams thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Tickel fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ultra looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Tickel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
