The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zajcev has managed to clinch.

Andonov's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Zajcev throws a head punch that misses.
Andonov wants a takedown but no success here.
Zajcev is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Zajcev throws a punch but it's blocked by Andonov.
Zajcev lands with a short shot to the head.
Zajcev prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yordan Andonov. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Zajcev lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Andonov backwards.

Andonov tries to keep at a distance but Zajcev has taken the fight into the clinch.

Zajcev tries to pull guard but Andonov forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Andonov is looking for a takedown.

Andonov prevents the takedown attempt.
Andonov is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Zajcev is defending well.

Zajcev pulls guard effortlessly.
Zajcev wants to stand and escape but Andonov is having none of it.
Andonov forces his way into half guard.
Zajcev is trying to stand back up but Andonov is controlling him

Zajcev wants to control but Andonov is keeping busy.
Andonov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Zajcev's head.
Zajcev is trying to control but can't.
Zajcev tries to kick Andonov off in order to stand up. Andonov Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Zajcev really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Andonov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Zajcev is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Zajcev tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Andonov lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Andonov has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Zajcev has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Andonov is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Zajcev is covering up but some of the strikes from Andonov are getting through and doing damage.
Zajcev felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Zajcev trying to get back to his feet but Andonov is in full control for now.

Andonov has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zajcev is trying to stand back up.

Zajcev covers up after that shot from Andonov.

Zajcev is rocked!
Zajcev is trying to get back to his feet but Andonov has full control of the position and if anything, Zajcev has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Zajcev is still in real trouble! Can Andonov finish him?
Andonov lands strikes from the back and Zajcev isn't doing enough to escape the position. The referee steps in to end the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yordan Andonov!
During a confident post fight interview, Yordan Andonov thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
