Grundy buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Grundy wants to slow Fame down by chopping away at his legs.
As Grundy tries to get set, Fame tries to push him back and clinch up but Grundy manages to avoid the attempt.
Grundy wants to land a leg kick but Fame is out of range.
Grundy's coach down at White Lotus was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Grundy's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Grundy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Grundy throws a hook to the side of Fame's head but Fame sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fame throws a series of punches but Grundy avoids them all with ease.
Grundy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fame.
Fame seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Grundy punishes Fame's body with a nice straight punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Grundy throws a lazy uppercut
and Fame counters with a three punch combo that has Grundy backing up. Grundy nods at Fame to acknowledge the strikes.
Grundy tries a head kick but it misses.
As Grundy tries to get set, Fame tries to push him back and clinch up but Grundy manages to avoid the attempt.
Grundy takes a swing at Fame's ribcage but misses.
Fame tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Grundy manages to circle out of the way.
Grundy does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Grundy throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Grundy takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Fame misses with a hook.
Some bone on bone action there as Fame checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Fame slips a jab and a cross from Grundy.
Fame throws an off balance right hand
and Grundy counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Grundy throws a low kick but Fame avoids it.

Grundy misses with a short punch on the inside.

Grundy tries a body shot but Fame blocks it.

Grundy breaks the clinch.
Grundy goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Fame takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Lil Fame's cut is getting worse.
Grundy connects with a body shot that sends Fame's belly button to the back.
Grundy lands a jab to Fame's midsection.
Fame avoids a kick to the body.
Fame went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Grundy dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Fame. That did some damage!
Grundy feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fames jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Lil Fame's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fame throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Fame on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Grundy. Grundy obviously looking to wear him down.
Grundy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fame lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A slapping leg kick lands for Grundy.
Fame throws a right and a left that both miss.
A bone on bone clash there as Fame blocks the leg kick.
Grundy on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Grundy cracks a nice hook into Fame's ribs.
Fame throws a series of punches but Grundy moves out of range.
Fame lands a nice shot that snaps Grundy's head back.
Grundy lands a nice looking body shot.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Grundy, right into the meat.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It looks like Brodie Grundy has been cut.
A decent looking cross lands there for Fame.
Fame throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Grundy moves out of range of the leg kick from Fame.

Grundy works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Jeez, Lil Fame's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Fame works over Grundy's head and body with a nice combination.

Grundy is rocked!
Fame cracks Grundy with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Grundy tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Fame pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Grundy is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
