The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Truck throws a sloppy head kick and Gormanson moves out of range easily.

Gormanson's coach down at Roosters Coop was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gormanson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Truck lands a leg kick that knocks Gormanson off balance momentarily.
Gormanson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

We've been hearing good reports from Funk's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
