The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Padovan drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Padovan throws a solid leg kick but Simpson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Padovan.
Simpson throws a combination that misses
and Padovan counters with a left and a right that stings Simpson.
Simpson feints a jab promting Padovan to slip. Simpson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Padovan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Simpson drops Padovan with a beautiful combination! Padovan stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Simpson is looking for the KO!

Padovan is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Simpson walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Padovan drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Simpson swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Padovan's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Kai Anderson has been cut.

Anderson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gruzdev works his way to full guard. Good work.
Anderson content to stall in guard here.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Gruzdev manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Gruzdev breaks the clinch.
Gruzdev cracks Anderson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Gruzdev misses with the combination.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A jab lands there for Gruzdev.
Anderson walks straight into a right hand from Gruzdev - that's dropped him! Gruzdev jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Anderson from any more punishment! Anderson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

In his post fight interview, Alexander Gruzdev started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Champagne definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Kulik moves in looking to clinch but Bo pushes him off.

Bo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kulik takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Bo lands a big uppercut and Kulik crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kulik looks OK. Bo waves Kulik back to his feet!

It looks like Dmitry Kulik has been cut.
Kulik is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bo misses with a body shot.
Bo grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Kulik takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Bo cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
