Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Caio Bottura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Oddwekk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bottura kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Face The Pain. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bottura thuds his right hand into Oddwekk's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Oddwekk closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Oddwekk lands in his opponent's guard.

Oddwekk has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Bottura to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Oddwekk is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Bottura pulls down on the head and he's put Oddwekk to sleep! This one is all over!

An out of breath Caio Bottura thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.

Jackson has Vivas pressed up against the ropes in a tight Thai clinch. Vivas is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Jackson - that's hurt Vivas badly! Oh, another knee lands and Vivas is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Vivas doesn't seem to be complaining.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Smultz drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Striker is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Smultz tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Striker is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Smultz is controlling him well.

Striker sneaks out the side door and pushes Smultz away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Smultz shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Striker but Striker pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

You can see the frustration on Ryan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
