The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rawlinson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ivanisovic sprawls well initially but Rawlinson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Ivanisovic manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!

Rawlinson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ivanisovic on his heels. He'll look to pass Ivanisovic's guard now, I'm sure.

Ivanisovic scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ivanisovic shoots in and drives through. Rawlinson sprawls well.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rawlinson.
Rawlinson fails to land the takedown.
Ivanisovic definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Ivanisovic isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Rawlinson stacks Ivanisovic on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Rawlinson!

Rawlinson is keen to just control but Ivanisovic is a slippery customer.

Ivanisovic has Rawlinson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Ivanisovic pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Rawlinson tumbling to the mat - Ivanisovic dives into Rawlinson's guard.
Ivanisovic knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rawlinson on the ground.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rawlinson has a closed guard, preventing Ivanisovic from standing up.
Ivanisovic postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Rawlinson controls Ivanisovic momentarily but Ivanisovic frees himself.

Ivanisovic is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Rawlinson presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ivanisovic is stalling in the full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Rawlinson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ivanisovic paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Ivanisovic closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ivanisovic lands in his opponent's guard.
Ivanisovic lands a couple of elbows.
Ivanisovic wants to pass the guard but Rawlinson is keeping the position.

Ivanisovic moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Ivanisovic seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Ivanisovic escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rawlinson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ivanisovic looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rawlinson is one step ahead there.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ivanisovic manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Rawlinson is trying to force a seperation but Ivanisovic has the dominant position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Ivanisovic gets control of Rawlinson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ivanisovic will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Ivanisovic is working an open guard so Rawlinson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
A head kick from Rawlinson lands but Ivanisovic takes it in his stride.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ivanisovic takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Rawlinson is squirming around, avoiding Ivanisovic's attempts to control the action.

Ivanisovic is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Rawlinson can do to turn this around?
You can see the frustration on Rawlinson's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Ivanisovic lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Ivanisovic.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Rawlinson tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Wyatt shoots in looking for a takedown. Hanes tries to sprawl out of it but Wyatt keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hanes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Wyatt looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Hanes lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Wyatt at a distance.

Hanes lands a big head kick that sends Wyatt tumbling to the mat! Hanes takes a step backwards and waves Wyatt back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Daniel Wyatt has been cut.
Hanes lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Wyatt falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tommy Hanes!
Tommy Hanes opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.

Kerr lands a strong strike to the head of Fiddlesticks. That's dazed him! Kerr looking to finish here. Fiddlesticks is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Kerr lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Tito Kerr was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
