Kunwar is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Stark defends it well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Silva with that takedown attempt.
Oddweek is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva.
Silva throws a body shot but no joy.
Oddweek goes for a double leg but Silva avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Silva continues to drive forward.

Silva gets a clinch.

Silva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Oddweek shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Oddweek keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Silva duly obliges.
Oddweek tries a head kick but it misses.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Silva tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Oddweek cranks the arm and Silva screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Silva, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Porgie clinches up against the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by De Angelico.
De Angelico lands an elbow that stopped Porgie in his tracks for a moment.
De Angelico prevents Porgie from breaking the clinch.

De Angelico's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Porgie throws a body shot but no joy.
De Angelico tests Porgie's chin there with a solid looking shot.
De Angelico misses with a few strikes there.
Porgie closes the distance and clinches up with De Angelico, looking for a takedown. Porgie pushes De Angelico against the cage but De Angelico circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, De Angelico just misses with a elbow thrown towards Porgie's brow.

De Angelico breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Porgie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. De Angelico tries to avoid it but Porgie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag De Angelico to the ground. De Angelico escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A looping hook to the body misses from De Angelico. Porgie does a little dance to reset his feet.
Porgie misses with a takedown attempt - De Angelico sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Gabriel De Angelico has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Georgie Porgie.

De Angelico lands a brutal uppercut that launches Porgie off his feet! Porgie tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Nemec throws a leg kick but McMuffin moved away.
McMuffin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Nemec manages to get an easy takedown there - catching McMuffin on his heels. He'll look to pass McMuffin's guard now, I'm sure.

McMuffin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

McMuffin has his foot on Nemec's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nemec works his way back into a safe position though.

Nemec really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McMuffin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Let's hope that Nemec has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Hendrix ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hendrix no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Liam Fitzpatrick!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzpatrick tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Smith throws the left hand but Fitzpatrick avoids the punch easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fitzpatrick. Smith does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fitzpatrick shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Smith counters with an outside leg kick.
Smith seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Fitzpatrick misses with a left hand
and Smith counters with a stiff right hand.
Smith thows a leg kick but Fitzpatrick checks it

and Fitzpatrick decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Smith's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
