The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster slips a jab and a cross from Congo.
Despite the aggression on Foster's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Congo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Foster unleashes a big counter combination but Congo bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Foster closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Foster is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Congo looks calm but he's in trouble here. Foster gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Congo is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Foster lets go of the hold and Congo can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ventura uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Li.

Li tries to keep at a distance but Ventura has taken the fight into the clinch.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Zell Griever.
