Asztalos has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Muakbar is landing a low percentage of strikes.

and Muakbar takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Muakbar walks straight into a right hand from Asztalos - that's dropped him! Asztalos jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Muakbar from any more punishment! Muakbar complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

In his post fight interview, Alex Asztalos started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
Haji Muakbar spoke after the fight, saying 'the roid rage just didn't kick in this time'.
