Winston changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Whitaker looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Whitaker tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Winston wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

It looks like Roger Machado has been cut.
Kruger uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Machado has time to react.
Machado on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Kruger has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kruger dips to his left and cracks Machado with an uppercut!
Kruger misses with a low kick.
Kruger scores with a sloppy right hand. Machado should have avoided that one.

That has opened up Roger Machado's cut even more.
Kruger blocks a jab.
Machado misses with a straight right.
Machado tries for a takedown but Kruger circles away easily
and Kruger counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Machado has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
