He turns his back on Lucarescu, trying to create some distance but Lucarescu rushes him, striking wildly and Duncan goes down! The referee tackles Lucarescu into the cage to end the fight! Lucarescu is one violent man!

Springfield is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tomasevic sees it coming and defends easily.

Springfield is working for a kimura but Tomasevic is defending it quite comfortably.

Springfield is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tomasevic is just riding it out for now. Springfield eventually gives up the hold.

Jones feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sullivan sprawling to the canvas! Sullivan rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jones finish him?!

Sullivan is rocked!

It looks like Jarred Sullivan has been cut.
Jones lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Sullivan up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Jones from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Sullivan's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Van Jones!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Van Jones waved his t-shirt featuring Spartan Nutrition's logo in front of the cameras.
Jarred Sullivan was interviewed post fight and said 'It is what it is, I will be back.'.

Babineaux slips a straight right by Stevenson.
Babineaux bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

It looks like Teofilo Stevenson has been cut.
Stevenson tries a head kick but it misses.
Babineaux seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Stevenson moves forwards but Babineaux connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Babineaux drops Stevenson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Stevenson looks back up at him and smiles so Babineaux waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Stevenson is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Babineaux closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Stevenson out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
