That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Recruit Two.

Dilli shoots in looking for a takedown but McGuire manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dilli's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Dilli lands a leg kick that knocks McGuire off balance momentarily.
McGuire displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dilli throws out the jab.
Dilli swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McGuire feints the counter takedown.
Temel Dilli is winning the standup battle so far.
McGuire stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but McGuire might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Dilli has got the better of the exchanges.

and Dilli counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
McGuire lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Dilli throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

A nice inside leg kick there by Dilli. That's going to slow McGuire down.
Dilli with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McGuire to score with a decent uppercut.

McGuire takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Dilli throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Dilli manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McGuire manages to get himself to full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dilli accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
