A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stern is defended easily by Shaker.
Stern misses with a takedown attempt - Shaker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Shaker throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Shaker throws a nice looking combination but Stern bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No joy there for Stern, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Shaker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stern steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Shaker.
Shaker takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Nice takedown defense from Shaker. No joy for Stern on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Howard Stern. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stern on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Shaker. Shaker obviously looking to wear him down.

Stern closes this distance looking for a takedown but Shaker circles away.

Stern tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shaker was well out of range. Poor timing from Stern.
Stern stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Stern jabs Shaker right on the nose. Shaker blinks but takes it well.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Stern checks a leg kick.

and Stern counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Shaker scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Shaker looks to score with a jab to the body but Stern is just out of range.
Shaker on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Shaker has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Stern cracks Shaker with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Stern enables Shaker to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Stern manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Stern manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Stern.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Stern lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Shaker backwards.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stern has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Shaker avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Shaker is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Stern pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Shaker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Shaker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Stern scores with a shot to the body.
Stern moves out of range of the body kick.
Stern jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Stern lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Shaker at a distance.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Howard Stern.
I think Stern has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Howard Stern really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Humanoid Nutrition (160Q for 160$) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
