The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crunch! Meyer slams his shin into Bensoussan's torso.
Meyer connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Josh Meyer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Meyer throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Bensoussan takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Bensoussan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Meyer.

enabling Meyer to counter with a crisp jab.

That kick from Meyer tenderised Bensoussan's leg. Bensoussan is trying to keep his angry face on.
Meyer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bensoussan circles away quickly and effectively.
Bensoussan was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Da Silva fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kanemaru has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Drum ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Drum really is a fat lump.
Drum on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Jab, jab by Guzan - just one landing.
Guzan waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Drum.
Drum appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Guzan uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Guzan throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Drum on the side of the head.
Guzan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Drum has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Guzan finds it's way round the side to connect with Drum's head.
The crowd cheers as Guzan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Drum doesn't seem phased though.

Guzan throws a right hand that Drum ducks under and follows up with a left that Drum also avoids with ease.
Drum changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Drum seems to have got his legs back now.

Guzan cracks Drum with an uppercut from hell and Drum crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Guzan's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Guzan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Drum is looking to cinch up a triangle. Guzan throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Drum's body to avoid the submission. Drum has instead reached around Guzan's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Drum arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Pacheco cracks Joyce on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Joyce falls backwards against the cage. Pacheco follows up with more strikes that drop Joyce to his knees. Pacheco keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Joyce! This one is all over!
