Saiyan stalks Bean and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bean's face. Bean staggers backwards, shaken.
Saiyan lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bean backs up against the cage.

Saiyan tries to keep at a distance but Bean has taken the fight into the clinch.
Our sources have told us that Saiyan has been working on his elbows in the gym.

Tanaka showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Zhirkov.
Tanaka looks to land a combination but Zhirkov avoids it well.
Zhirkov misses with a takedown attempt - Tanaka sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Zhirkov misses with a body shot.
Zhirkov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Zhirkov shoots in but no luck this time.

Zhirkov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tanaka's waist but Tanaka gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zhirkov off to one side.

Zhirkov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Tanaka will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Zhirkov tries to counter with a takedown but Tanaka is quick to defend against it.
Tanaka feints with a jab and clips Zhirkov right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Zhirkov is sent crashing into the canvas and Tanaka leaps in for the kill! Zhirkov tries to get to his feet but Tanaka is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Zhirkov is in need of a savior and steps in!
