The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Man tries to land a front kick but Pioneeri steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Pioneeri swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Pioneeri connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Man forces Pioneeri back against the cage and clinches.
Pioneeri throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Mans head.

Pioneeri turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Pioneeri manages to end up in side control.

Struja is looking for a kimura but Tolonen is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Struja to get the leverage.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Struja connects with a nice short shot to Tolonen's temple.
Tolonen is not content to let Struja control the position.
Struja lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Tolonen! More strikes land and this one is all over! Struja jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

An out of breath Ludko Struja thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
In defeat, Matti Tolonen stepped up to the mic, saying 'Grappler just got lucky!'.
