and Siddle counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Siddle.

Siddle has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Schmeldty regains guard immediately.
Siddle is looking to work some ground and pound but Schmeldty has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Siddle gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Siddle tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Schmeldty is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Siddle buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Siddle!! Siddle is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Schmeldty throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Caine fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cruz looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Cruz moves in looking to clinch but Caine pushes him off.
Caine dips to his left and cracks Cruz with an uppercut!
Caine lands with a good body shot.
Caine fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cruz on the side of the head.

Cruz fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cruz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Caine defends well and Cruz ends up having to push Caine into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Cruz closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Caine bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cruz's guard.

Caine postures up in Cruz's guard and throws a big left but Cruz blocks it.

Caine has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Cruz to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Caine is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Cruz pulls down on the head and he's put Caine to sleep! This one is all over!
