Project Joshua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Squibb tries to close the distance and clinch but Joshua swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

With a record of 19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Marco Ferreira!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Ferreira throws out a loose jab but Palmer uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ferreira connects with a looping right hand.
Palmer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Palmer jabs at Ferreira's body.
The fighters circling - Palmer throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Palmer lands a body shot.
Palmer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ferreira moves away.
Ferreira throws a counter combo.
Ferreira has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Palmer takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Palmer with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ferreira to score with a decent uppercut.
Palmer bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ferreira's head backwards.
Palmer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ferreira.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd cheers as Ferreira lands an impressive looking overhand right. Palmer doesn't seem phased though.
Ferreira tries to clinch but Palmer is having none of it.
Ferreira throws a series of punches but Palmer moves out of range.
Palmer seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Marco Ferreira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Palmer jabs Ferreira to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Good shot there by Palmer.
Palmer's corner calls for a 1-2. Palmer obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

It looks like Marco Ferreira has been cut.
Palmer misses with an uppercut. Ferreira saw that one coming.

Palmer lands a jab to Ferreira's midsection.

Palmer lands a big uppercut and Ferreira crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ferreira looks OK. Palmer waves Ferreira back to his feet!

Ferreira is rocked!
Ferreira uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Palmer.
Ferreira throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Palmer on the side of the head.
and Palmer counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Ferreira! He's just covering up as Palmer starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roy Palmer!

A very excited looking Roy Palmer rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
In defeat, Marco Ferreira stepped up to the mic, saying 'Fucks sake.'.
