The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaker bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Blaker avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Strife scores with a jab to the head.

It looks like Scott Blaker has been cut.
Strife lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Strife swings away with a body shot that misses
and Blaker counters with a straight right hand.
Blaker takes a swing at Strife's ribcage but misses.
Nice defenses there by Blaker.
Blaker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Strife.
Strife connects with a right hand. Blaker shakes it off.
Blaker goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Blaker looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Strife misses with a telegraphed body shot
letting Blaker counter with a right hand.
Strife tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Blaker was well out of range. Poor timing from Strife.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Blaker ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Blaker throws a body punch but Strife moves out of range.
Strife throwing a counter right hand but Blaker manages to avoid it.
Strife misses with an uppercut.
Blaker misses with a double jab
and Strife counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Blaker moves away from the strike by Strife.
Blaker now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Blaker misses with a jab, cross combination.
Strife definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Strife moves out of range of the strikes.
Blaker takes one to the side of the head.

That has opened up Scott Blaker's cut even more.
Blaker misses the jab.
Strife connects with a body shot.
Blaker throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Strife stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Strife throws an overhand right that lands on Blaker's shoulder, as Blaker tries to avoid the shot.
Blaker on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blaker throws a body punch but Strife moves out of range.
As Blaker looks to move away, Strife throws a big counter combo but Blaker just gets out of the way.
Strife lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Strife misses with an uppercut.
Strife slips a jab and a cross from Blaker.
Strife is looking to counter punch.
Strife misses with a wild body shot.
Blaker jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Strife slips a straight right by Blaker.
A telegraphed right hand from Strife misses the target.

Strife drops Blaker with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Blaker looks back up at him and smiles so Strife waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Blaker is rocked!

A combination from Blaker does no damage.
Blaker keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Blaker moves out of range as Strife strikes.
Strife cracks Blaker with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

The cut above Scott Blaker's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Strife throws a pinpoint strike between Blaker's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Blaker crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Strife scores a great knockout victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cloud Strife!
Cloud Strife retains his heavyweight title!
