I think Velasquez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Loonie - Balewala. Falwell has chosen Don't Stop Believing as his entrance music. Yahweh Falwell will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Falwell looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Velasquez wants the takedown. Falwell is fighting it off but Velasquez persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Falwell's guard against the cage.
Falwell can't keep his opponent in guard - Velasquez advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Velasquez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Velasquez seems to have locked his on tight now - Falwell screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Velasquez, as he picks up the win!

Yahweh Falwell spoke after the fight, saying 'Hasa diga eebowai. I guess I didn't pray hard enough, or maybe prayed too much. I bet if I rolled more instead of praying, I might have learned to defend submissions. I guess it's God's will. But to quote George Carlin: "If it's God's will and he's going to do what he wants to anyway, why'.
