The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rampage dives in and grabs Garcia's left leg, looking for a takedown. Garcia pushes down on Rampage's head and hops out.
A little feinted left hand from Garcia on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Garcia lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Garcia looks to throw a body kick

and Rampage counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Garcia!
Garcia tries to buck Rampage off but Rampage is having none of it.
Rampage trying to control the action but Garcia is working from the bottom.

Rampage is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Garcia knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rampage accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Rampage drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Garcia manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rampage has Garcia in his guard.

Garcia lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rampage closes the distance and clinches up with Garcia, looking for a takedown. Rampage pushes Garcia against the cage but Garcia circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Rampage feints and as Garcia raises his hands in defense, Rampage changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Garcia will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Rampage is looking to stand up but Garcia won't let him.
Rampage wants to control from the top but Garcia keeps moving.

Garcia is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Rampage rolls with it to try and escape but Garcia cranks on the arm and Rampage is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Bob Fynn decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Mirko Filipovic spoke after the fight, saying 'I just didn't follow the gameplan right. I'm better than this and I'll be back on top soon'.

Gracie closes the distance and clinches up with Doom, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes Doom against the cage but Doom circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Doom let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Doom gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Doom apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Filippo Di Vaio struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Po is looking to clinch but Kermode is avoiding it.
Kermode swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Po tries to clinch up but Kermode circles away and keeps his distance.

Kermode fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Po looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kermode uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Po has time to react.

It looks like Tong Po has been cut.
Kermode fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Po has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Mayo Kermode seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
