The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joy misses with an uppercut
and Truck counters with a right hand to the body.

Joy has Truck up against the cage in a clinch.

Joy is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Truck can't fight it off and eventually Joy manages to take the fight to the floor. Truck looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Waylon Joy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Joy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Truck.

Truck is fighting off a takedown attempt but Joy is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Truck to the mat. Truck regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Joy has picked Truck up - he's going for a ride! Joy dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Joy looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Truck with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Joy decides to return to a standing position.
Truck shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Joy closes the distance and clinches.

Joy has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Truck clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Joy has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Truck is in real trouble here. Joy gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Truck is tapping out! Joy wins by rear naked choke!
