The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Locke throws an off balance right hand
and Paul counters with a nice uppercut.
Locke shoots for a double leg takedown but Paul sprawls well. He's pushed Locke's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Paul connects with a right hand. Locke shakes it off.

A relieved looking Krease McBreezer thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Lance Carr was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Carr with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Colsoer to score with a decent uppercut.
Colsoer tries to close the distance and clinch but Carr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Carr looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Carr is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Colsoer is just riding it out for now. Carr eventually gives up the hold.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lenn Colsoer.

Jazz chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Trott can pounce on him.
Jazz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jazz throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Trott sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Trott lands a big head kick that sends Jazz tumbling to the mat! Trott takes a step backwards and waves Jazz back to his feet - he wants the finish!
