Undercard bout

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Byron Tipton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Ciz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ciz throws a leg kick which misses Tipton's front leg but catches the back leg as Tipton tries to avoid it.
Tipton throws a predictable looking body shot

and Ciz counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tipton won't be happy with that.

Ciz content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Tipton has locked up a guillotine! Tipton's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Ciz is holding on here and Tipton must be using up a lot of energy. Ciz has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Tipton gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

We've been told by Pinaglabanan's head coaches at Vendetta Alliance London Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

and Knight connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
