The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aldo rushes Swaber and presses him up against the cage.
Swaber looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Swaber has had enough of the clinch but Aldo keeps him there for the moment.

I was talking to Aldo's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Swaber blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Aldo dips a shoulder and cracks Swaber with a mighty uppercut! Swaber falls back against the cage and Aldo unloads with a barrage of strikes! Swaber is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Aldo screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Jose Aldo spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
