The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vos throws a right and a left that Rowan avoids nicely.
Rowan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rowan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Vos lands a head kick. Rowan smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Nice body punch from Vos.

Vos gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rowan's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Vos is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Vasla avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Vasla changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gramicki looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Vasla blocks the strikes from Gramicki.
You can see the frustration on Gramicki's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Gramicki tries to buck Vasla off but Vasla is having none of it.

Vasla is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Gramicki looks calm but he's in trouble here. Vasla gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Gramicki is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Vasla lets go of the hold and Gramicki can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Steinsson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Poulsen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Steinsson dives in for a single leg takedown but Poulsen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Poulsen now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Oooooh!!! Poulsen has knocked Steinsson down with a huge combo! Poulsen steps away and waves a wobbly Steinsson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Steinsson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Steinsson seems to have got his legs back now.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Steinsson.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Steinsson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Poulsen walks away with a smile on his face. Steinsson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Poulsen counters with a nice uppercut.

Poulsen lands a big right hand that sends Steinsson crashing to the mat! Poulsen stays standing though and waves Steinsson back to his feet!

Poulsen has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Steinsson is landing a low percentage of strikes.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Poulsen cracks Steinsson with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Steinsson falls to his knees and Poulsen doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Pendragon has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Pendragon's corner calls for a 1-2. Pendragon obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
