These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vovchanchyn steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tyraanicao.
We've been told by Tyraanicao's head coaches at Crassus that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

It looks like Borislav Vovchanchyn has been cut.

Vovchanchyn is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tyraanicao.
Tyraanicao misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

No joy there for Vovchanchyn, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Borislav Vovchanchyn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyraanicao feints and then cracks Vovchanchyn's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Vovchanchyn down.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vovchanchyn throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Tyraanicao tries to clinch up but Vovchanchyn circles away and keeps his distance.

Vovchanchyn manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tyraanicao on his heels. He'll look to pass Tyraanicao's guard now, I'm sure.

Tyraanicao is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Tyraanicao is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Vovchanchyn frees his head nicely. Oh but Tyraanicao has switched to an armbar! Vovchanchyn is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

I think Dust might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to For Heavy Metal we will die!. Hermano comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Deadhead kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

Well Wein has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
