The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calacon keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Calacon cracks a nice hook into Skinner's ribs.
Skinner shoots for a takedown but Calacon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Calacon feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Skinner's calf.

Skinner feints and as Calacon raises his hands in defense, Skinner changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Calacon seems keen to control Skinner's posture.
Skinner with a flurry of punches that miss.
Calacon has momentary wrist control but Skinner slips an elbow through the middle.

Space fails with a takedown attempt.
It looked like Halloo was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Horrible takedown attempt by Space or perhaps it was just good defense by Halloo, which made it look bad.

Halloo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Halloo has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Space to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Halloo is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Space pulls down on the head and he's put Halloo to sleep! This one is all over!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Sparx working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Ludwig seems to be stalking Mcgruff here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastating head kick! Mcgruff drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

Sven Ludwig decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Nathan fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Oh Valentine is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nathan lands a brutal uppercut that launches Valentine off his feet! Valentine tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
