Osinen closes the distance but Jackson moves to the side

A momentary lapse in concentration from Osinen enables Jackson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Osinen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Gary uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Nagano has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA Tokyo in the buildup to the fight.

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kaziro Satomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phad Mendes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaziro Satomi had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

A decent looking cross lands there for Barney.

It looks like Imanari Yushimoto has been cut.

Yushimoto shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Barney napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Yushimoto works to advance to full mount. Barney defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Yushimoto looking to control but Barney is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Yushimoto has hold of Barney's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Barney manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Barney really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yushimoto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Barney squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Yushimoto is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Yushimoto!

Blue shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Diaz manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Diaz manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Blue tries to pull guard but Diaz holds him up against the cage and eventually Blue drops back down to his feet.

Blue breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Blue is trying hard to land a takedown here. Diaz sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Diaz stalks Blue and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Blue's face. Blue staggers backwards, shaken.
Diaz takes a swing at Blue's ribcage but misses.

Carsara darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Mutulikina's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Carsara before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Blue tries to throw a body punch but Two avoids it by throwing Blue back against the cage.

Two bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Blue's guard.

Two sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Blue's guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
