The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apache fails with a takedown attempt.
Apache throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tamlan wants to counter with a clinch but Apache pushes him away.
Tamlan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Apache misses with a straight left.
Apache tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tamlan defends well and Apache ends up having to push Tamlan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Tamlan changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Apache tries a head kick but it misses.
Apache swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tamlan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Apache.

Jimmy Norvac told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Saaim shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Norvac has momentary wrist control but Saaim slips an elbow through the middle.
Norvac wants to stand up but Saaim is controlling him.
Saaim throws an elbow that misses. Norvac uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Saaim's guard. Nice move by Norvac!

Norvac fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Saaim manages to avoid it.
