Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Perrone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kawaki Inoshita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perrone comes into the arena with Eye Of The Tiger blaring out of the sound system. Kawaki Inoshita struggled to make weight for this fight. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Inoshita working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
It looks like Inoshita might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Let's hope that Inoshita has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Brandis avoids the body shot from Routh.
Brandis dives in for a single leg takedown but Routh sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Routh definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
