The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wallace manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mack on his heels. He'll look to pass Mack's guard now, I'm sure.
Wallace must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Mack is trying to force a seperation but Wallace has the dominant position.

Wallace turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Wallace manages to end up in side control.

Mack is pushing Wallace's head away, looking to escape. Wallace manages to hold on to the position though.

Mack sneaks out the side door and pushes Wallace away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Mack lands a really nice looking cross but Wallace seems unphased.

Wallace forces Mack back against the cage and clinches.

Wallace has Mack pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Wallace pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Mack tumbling to the mat - Wallace dives into Mack's guard.

Mack uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Khalil Mack is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
