Maximo Jefe spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lock Bresnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyrus Great (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bresnar kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is ABOVE THE LAW - murder rap. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Bresnar fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Great looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Great might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Great takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Great connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bresnar momentarily.

Horrible takedown attempt by Bresnar or perhaps it was just good defense by Great, which made it look bad.
Great is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bresnar had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Great thuds his right hand into Bresnar's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
