Diggler has his feet on Evron's thighs here. He's pushed Evron off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Evron screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Star Roaring holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Wood misses with a two punch combination.
Wood missing with a left hand there. Da Silva was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wood tries to bum rush Da Silva with a series of wild strikes but Da Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Da Silva throws out a counter right but Wood avoids it with no problem.
No joy there for Wood, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wood tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Da Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Wood throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Oooh a lovely combination from Wood sends Da Silva down but not out. Wood dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like Marcelo Eduardo Da Silva has been cut.
Wood working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Da Silva is still in real trouble! Can Wood finish him?
Wood throws an elbow but Da Silva slips to the side and avoids it well.
Da Silva is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Wood asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Wood has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wood is looking to take a break and control but Da Silva is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Wood tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wood has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Da Silva seems to have recovered his senses.

Wood is working to tighten his grip on Da Silva's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Da Silva has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Wood is really squeezing tight and eventually Da Silva passes out! Wood breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Askren shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Punk manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Askren has gone for a leg lock! Punk slips out almost immediately though and dives into Askren's guard.

Punk stands up over Askren, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Punk has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Askren has his foot on Punk's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Punk works his way back into a safe position though.
