A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Basurto has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Flynn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Basurto escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Flynn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Pan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Garrett is trying to defend but Pan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pan connects with a nice short shot to Garrett's temple.
