That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cullen Castrello.

Curry moves away from the strike by Steigelmann.
Curry tries to land a leg kick but Steigelmann saw it coming and moves away.
We've been informed that Steigelmann has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
A punch lands to the side of Steigelmann 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like Gunnar Steigelmann has been cut.

Gunnar Steigelmann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Steigelmann tries to clinch but Curry moves out of range.

Curry throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Steigelmann on the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A telegraphed right hand from Curry misses the target.
Steigelmann fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Curry has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Curry throws a shot from downtown. Steigelmann moves away and avoids it.
Curry connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Curry throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Steigelmann throws a body shot but no joy.
Curry throws a jab when Steigelmann was well out of range.
A combination from Steigelmann does no damage.
Curry scores with a hook.

Curry feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Steigelmann sprawling to the canvas! Steigelmann rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Curry finish him?!

Steigelmann is rocked!

That has opened up Gunnar Steigelmann's cut even more.
Curry lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Steigelmann head around and knocks him out cold! Curry hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
