These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bee Jay will probably get the nod.

Poe has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Wasa.
Small takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Small swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Wasa fires out a quick counter leg kick but Small just manages to avoid it.
Wasa ducks right into an uppercut from Small.
Small with a nice cross.
Wasa goes for a double leg but Small avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Small continues to drive forward.

Small had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wasa defends it easily.

Wasa has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Small is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Wasa.

Pennypacker stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Pennypacker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Thacker.

Pennypacker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Thacker looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
