Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Force (ranked 1526 p4p, 180 weight class) and Mark Strong (ranked 1306 p4p, 152 weight class). Strong comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Egypt Central - Kick Ass kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strong lands a nice hook to Force's body. Force takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Force throws a body kick that misses
and Strong counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Strong instigates a clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Force fails to land.
Strong gets underhooks to prevent Force's takedown attempt.

I was talking to Force's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Force tries to buck Strong off but Strong is having none of it.

Strong looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Force tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Strong wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Strong is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Force looks calm but he's in trouble here. Strong gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Force is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Strong lets go of the hold and Force can pop his arm back in it's socket.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurley on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Snape throws a lazy right hand but Hurley sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hurley looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Hurley looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Snape throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hurley quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Hurley lands a big head kick that sends Snape tumbling to the mat! Hurley takes a step backwards and waves Snape back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Lexington Snape has been cut.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Hurley.

Snape gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Hurley points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Snape wakes up just in time to hear Hurley thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
