The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlsson is looking to clinch but Maichuso is avoiding it.
Maichuso wants to counter with a clinch but Carlsson pushes him away.
Carlsson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Carlsson.

Carlsson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Maichuso keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Maichuso should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Maichuso is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Carlsson trying to mount his opponent but Maichuso defends it.

We've been hearing reports that Hands has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Bin Zayed working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Wilson shoots for a double leg takedown but Dovlatov sprawls well. He's pushed Wilson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
