The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tomson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Shermann napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shermann takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Tomson tries to get to his feet but Shermann is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Tomson in his guard.

Pulatov steps in with a hook that catches Shahriari right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Pulatov follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Shahriari looks absolutely devastated.
