The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Griffin does no damage.
Johnson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Griffin thows a leg kick but Johnson checks it
and Johnson counters with an outside leg kick.
Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Griffin tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Griffin to the ground. Griffin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Johnson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Griffin defends well and Johnson ends up having to push Griffin into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Johnson scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Griffin manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Johnson on his heels. He'll look to pass Johnson's guard now, I'm sure.

Washburn wants to counter the offense by Ceomo and move into the clinch position.
Washburn shoots in for a takedown but Ceomo shows good takedown defense.
Sebastol Ceomo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ceomo uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Washburn has time to react.
