He's out! He's out cold! Sheehan Jr gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Ruth throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Steel on the side of the head.
The crowd cheers as Steel lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ruth doesn't seem phased though.
Steel drops his hands momentarily and Ruth takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ruth has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Von Erich. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Hensen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hensen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Hensen lands a big left to the face of Von Erich, bouncing his head like a basketball. Another shot from Hensen and another - Von Erich is out! Hensen stands up and salutes his fans, who are going crazy in the stands.
