The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith looks to land a combination but Mitchell avoids it well.
Mitchell changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Smith misses with a low kick as Mitchell jumps back.

We've been hearing reports that Mitchell has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Smith lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Smith .
A head kick misses from Smith .
A shot to the liver by Smith . Beautiful body shot.
Mitchell darts in looking for a takedown but Smith gets double underhooks and turns Mitchell into the cage.
Despite the aggression on Smith 's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Tyler Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mitchell fails with the takedown
and Smith counters with a stiff right hand.
Smith scores with a shot to the body.
Smith connects with a single shot there.

Smith lands a left and a right that send Mitchell crashing to the mat, dazed. Smith thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Mitchell is rocked!

It looks like Theo Mitchell has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mitchell walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Smith swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

After winning the bout, Tyler Smith thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Riffe has chosen Bad and Boujee as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nazaryan misses with a takedown attempt
and Riffe counters with a nice low kick that buckles Nazaryan's knee momentarily.
Riffe buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Riffe moves into the clinch successfully.
Nazaryan has Riffe pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Riffe manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Nazaryan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Riffe pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sebouh Nazaryan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nazaryan drops down looking for an ankle pick but Riffe pulls his leg out and moves away.
Riffe scores with a one two! Nazaryan had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Nazaryan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nazaryan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nazaryan wants to clinch.

Riffe instigates a clinch.
Riffe gets underhooks to prevent Nazaryan's takedown attempt.

Riffe escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Riffe dives in and scores a takedown into Nazaryan's guard.
Riffe working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Nazaryan's head.
Nazaryan wants to sweep but no luck.
Riffe is in close to Nazaryan's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Riffe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nazaryan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Nazaryan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Riffe can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Riffe postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Riffe must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Nazaryan wants to sweep here but Riffe controlling him for the moment.
Nazaryan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Riffe's guard.

Nazaryan postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Riffe is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Nazaryan, into his guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nazaryan has momentary wrist control but Riffe slips an elbow through the middle.

Nazaryan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Riffe's guard.


Nazaryan drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Nazaryan as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Riffe screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Nazaryan! Nice submission victory there!

Le throws a shot to the body.
A head kick misses from Le.
No luck for Zidane with that takedown attempt.
We've been hearing reports that Zidane has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Le clobbers Zidane with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Zidane takes a kick to the side of the head.

Le darts in and clinches Zidane up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Le prevents a takedown attempt there.

Zidane has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Le is trying to keep an underhook but Zidane manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Le is staying active underneath Zidane, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Le tries to roll over but Zidane keeps him under control.
Zidane thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Le's head.
Zidane throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Le has hold of Zidane's hands but Zidane slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

It looks like Kung Le has been cut.
Le avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Zidane.
Zidane lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

That has opened up Kung Le's cut even more.
Zidane working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The cut above Kung Le's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Zidane thows a huge punch but Le dodges it nicely.
Zidane stops Le from getting back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Le can do anything to dispel that myth.
Zidane slips a nice elbow through Le's hands, connecting with Le's forehead.
Le is not content to let Zidane control the position.
Zidane looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Le has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Zidane is working away from the top position though.

Kung Le's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kung Le's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

A very excited looking Zarko Zidane made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Christopher has taken the fight to the clinch.
A short right from Dhelan.
A head punch on the inside from Dhelan fails to land.
Dhelan pushes Christopher back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Dhelan swings wildly with an uppercut but Christopher uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dhelan lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Dhelan.
Dhelan swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Dhelan blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Dhelan manages to pull guard.
Christopher has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dhelan is proving hard to escape from.
Dhelan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Christopher manages to get himself to full guard.

Dhelan has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Dhelan forces his way into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Dhelan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Christopher tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Dhelan works his way into side control.

Dhelan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Christopher, who protects the arm well.

Christopher wants to control but Dhelan postures up.
Christopher is looking to regain half guard here but Dhelan keeps moving and retains side control.

Dhelan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dhelan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
You can see the frustration on Christopher's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Dhelan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Dhelan tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Dhelan advances nicely into full mount.

Dhelan working for a guillotine from mount but Christopher is in no mood to give up.
Dhelan moves to back control.

Dhelan has got his arm under Christopher's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Christopher has spun round into Dhelan's guard beautifully! Well done that man!

Dhelan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Christopher gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Dhelan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Christopher is one step ahead there.

Dhelan looking for a guillotine here but Christopher defends easily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dhelan is on top in guard.

Dhelan advances to half guard.

Kahn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but O Hadden moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kahn lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

O Hadden misses with an uppercut.
Kahn throws a series of punches but O Hadden moves out of range.

Kahn bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

O Hadden takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kahn tries to bum rush O Hadden with a series of wild strikes but O Hadden uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

O Hadden takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Kahn looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
O Hadden tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Kahn is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Left hook, right uppercut from Kahn.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A jab from Kahn does it's job there.

O Hadden is rocked!
No joy there for Kahn, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kahn lands a left and a right that send O Hadden crashing to the mat, dazed. Kahn thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
O Hadden is still on wobbly legs! Can Kahn finish him?
O Hadden is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Kahn moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Modeous Kahn!
Modeous Kahn gave a mention to Amped Performance ($200/160q) in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
