Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Saleem Al Khan (ranked 5457 p4p, 622 weight class) and Repa Tiitti (ranked 16694 p4p, 817 weight class). Al Khan's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Three Days Grace - Scared. Tiitti comes into a darkened arena with his song building. AC/DC Back in Black kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Repa Tiitti was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiitti tries to clinch there but Al Khan circles away.
No joy there for Tiitti, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tiitti fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Al Khan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Al Khan is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tiitti sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Al Khan tries for a takedown but Tiitti sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Tiitti feints a jab promting Al Khan to slip. Tiitti then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Al Khan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Tiitti throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Al Khan.

Tiitti dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Al Khan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Oooooh!!! Tiitti has knocked Al Khan down with a huge combo! Tiitti steps away and waves a wobbly Al Khan back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tiitti fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Al Khan manages to avoid it.

Al Khan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tiitti doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tiitti manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Tiitti has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Al Khan is proving hard to escape from.

Well Tiitti has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulu misses with a low kick as Basaev jumps back.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pulu. Basaev does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pulu tried to score with a low kick but Basaev checks it.
Pulu shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Basaev defends it nicely.
We've been informed that Basaev has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Basaev looks to land a left hand but Pulu moved out of range nicely.
Basaev tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Pulu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Basaev pinned against the cage. Basaev gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Basaev throws a lazy right hand but Pulu sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pulu throws the left hand but Basaev avoids the punch easily.

Pulu needs to keep his hands up - Basaev had a free shot at his head there.

Pulu wants to slow Basaev down by chopping away at his legs.
Basaev scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Pulu's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Basaev connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pulu scrambles back to his feet.

Maki Pulu's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

and Basaev counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Pulu! He's just covering up as Basaev starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Reed Basaev spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
