Tanahashi comes to the cage accompanied by Blood Stain Child - Stargazer. Grishin has chosen Danger as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Viktor Grishin was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Tanahashi lands with a thumping leg kick.
Tanahashi shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Tanahashi lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
A combination from Grishin does no damage.
Grishin stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tanahashi.
Tanahashi scores with a crisp jab that stopped Grishin in his tracks.
Grishin lands with a nice body punch.
Tanahashi goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Grishin tries a quick counter leg kick but Tanahashi is wise to it.
Tanahashi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Grishin manages to avoid it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Grishin! But no joy.

Tanahashi uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Grishin has time to react.

Satoshi Tanahashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tanahashi throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Grishin tumbling to the canvas!
Grishin is still in real trouble! Can Tanahashi finish him?

Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Tanahashi and the ref steps in to end the fight! Tanahashi can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
